About Daniela.

Daniela Kayser has a passion for creating beautiful and comforting dishes. After running a successful catering and event planning business for over a decade, she was inspired to open her own restaurant. On the recommendation of her sister, Daniela discovered a style of pizza with ancient roots, also known as pizza in teglia (pizza in a pan). The word pinsa derives from the Latin word “pinsere” which means, “to press.” 

daniela. opened in 2019 and is the only pinseria in Buffalo, NY. Other pinserias are located in San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, Italy, and Dubai. 

Daniela also serves as the Head of Department of Craft Service for the Buffalo Niagara Film Commission.
